OHK Food Bank

Show Description

Livermore, CA

This new food bank, owned and operated by Open Heart Kitchen and anticipated to be complete in summer 2024, will be a regional distribution center for Tri-Valley pantries and a pilot project for other potential regional food distribution centers in the East Bay. Currently, pantries throughout Alameda County receive distributions through the Alameda County Food Bank in Oakland, a long-commute distance for pantries in the east and south sides of the County. The OHK Food Bank will be the new receiving center for the pantries within the cities of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore.

The food bank will include receiving and distribution areas, freezer and refrigeration storage, dry storage, pantry shopping areas, offices, and a volunteer area.
